APESF is non-profit organization that was developed under the guidlines provided in the Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit Law of 1997. APESF was founded and incorporated in 1998 to probide scholarships/grants to qualified students attending private K-12 schools in the state of Arizona. APESF utilizes re-directed state tax dollars avalailable through the Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit Law and general donations to fulfill its mission. Our organizational aim is to provide any qualified student that seeks a choice in their educational career the necessary financial support to be a successful student and productive citizen.
The Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit Law, A.R.S. Section 43-1089 allows single and married taxpayers to re-direct their state taxes to organizations that provide scholarships and grants to students attending qualified private schools in the state of Arizona. Be Wise! Arizona law allows single taxpayers or heads of households an annual credit of up to $500. For married taxpayers that file a joint return, the credit is now up to $625.
